For us sensitive souls and empaths, it can be a lot to manage our energy field. We pick up so much, which is a gift, but we must make sure we maintain our fields well.
I’ve tried a lot of different things to manage my own energy (after I finally realized that half the reason I was struggling so much was due to my cluttered field) but these are the ones that stuck because I actually feel better right after I do them.
I notice I like immediate results and I like them to be experiential! If I don’t feel them working, it’s generally because I'm a little too overwhelmed and out of my body - which is often our natural response - but they ARE working. Sometimes it also indicates I just need some external support.
So here we go…
1. Sage often. I loooove to sage. At this point I can feel when my space needs a good sage but it's a good practice to do it as often as you can. Bonus- it actually cleans the air on a physical level as well. I will go all around the room and around my body using a feather or smudge fan for spreading. Make sure you get those corners! Dense energy likes to collect in the upper corners of the room. See if you can feel the difference after!
2.Create sacred spaces. Keep your place clean remembering that EVERYTHING is energy and you are sensitive so you can feel it all. If you’re like me, you will LOVE creating energetically sound spaces that are free of clutter and full of beauty. Trust me, you will notice a big lift in your energy.
3. Call on Archangel Raphael. He is the Archangel who can help with healing your energy field. I call on him everyday before meditation. As well as like 3 other ones...I like my support. After you ask, takes some breaths and try to relax so he can work. Can you feel the difference?
4. Tune into your center. Shift your focus inward. See if you can sense your core star between your 2nd and 3rd chakra. We often have all our feelers out to make sure we are safe but we can lose ourselves in the process. This is best done after tip #5.
5. Sever chords and energetic tethers. Repeat the phrase "Me back to me, you back to you." Visualize all of your energy coming back to you and everyone else’s going back to them. You can also visualize a chord between you and another person and cut it with an imaginary sword or cutting device of your choosing.
6. Shower daily! If your like me you don’t like to wash your hair daily so get a shower cap and rinse off. I notice my hair feel dense with energy as well sometimes so definitely wash it as often as you can. While you are showering, call upon Poseiden and the water fairies to assist you in cleansing your body and energy field of anything you no longer need to carry.
That's it! These are quick and easy tips to support you on your journey. I recommend tuning in after each and seeing if you can feel the difference. For some it will be quite obvious and others it might take some time. Either way it helps you to become more aware of your energy.
